The Bowtech LED-1600 is the first commercially available light in our AquaVision range. This light features our latest LED technology. The LED’s produce 4 times more light per watt than an incandescent bulb.
The LED cluster has no fragile filament and is highly shock resistant (30G) and robust, with exceptional longevity. The LED-1600 has an effective lifetime greater than 100,000 hours. With this exceptional lifetime, this leads to an enormous “in service” cost saving over lamps with incandescent bulbs. Bulb change outs are also far quicker.
The 3,000 metre rated housing is made from hard anodised aluminium and blue hot epoxy powder coated, which offers proven corrosion resistance. It is fitted with an acrylic window. The LED cluster delivers a bright white light (6,600 k) of 1,600 lumens, which is equal to or greater than the majority of incandescent lights of this type.
The light produced, is ideal for video with a high through water transmission.
